All students are encouraged to become independent learners and contributing members of their classroom community. Our Pre-Primary class nurtures students from two years to three years old. Students in our Primary classes (3-6 years olds) and Elementary (6-9 year olds) spend three years in mixed aged groupings, offering MMS students the comfort of in-depth relationships, an environment that fosters collaborative learning, and where individual student learning differences are respected. Student lessons are given to the whole class, small groups and individuals. In our well equipped classrooms, our Montessori trained teachers support all levels of learning and inspire our students to do challenging work! MMS offers working parents before school and after school options. MMS is open nearly year round and offers an outdoor nine week summer program on our patio overlooking a pond on the school’s beautifully landscaped six acres.
